Invoicing Process

Parents are generally invoiced on the last Monday of each month (please note variations in bold). The invoice is due for payment within 1 week of issue. Payment is for 4 or 5 whole weeks, depending on how the dates fall – see below for invoicing timetable.

Accounts not paid in full within 7 days of the due date will incur an admin charge of £20 per month. Should the account remain in arrears by the next invoice due date, an interest charge will be applied at Bank of England base rate PLUS 5% on the overdue amount. If there are exceptional circumstances that parents would like us to take into account they should speak to Mrs Anna Cruickshank before the due date. In general exceptional circumstances will only be considered if the account is usually paid on time.

All payments should be made to Derby Montessori School. Our preferred method of payment is BACS or similar to our account, the details of this can be found on the invoice. We accept payment by childcare vouchers and are registered with several different companies, please contact us for further details. Derby Montessori School welcomes siblings, and offers sibling discounts. Payment by cash or cheque will incur additional charges to reflect our costs.

The ‘last day for changes’ allows extra hours to be booked for the forthcoming month (subject to availability). One full calendar month’s notice must be given if you wish to reduce the overall number of hours in your child’s standard attendance pattern. Two full calendar month’s notice must be given of intention to withdraw your child, otherwise two full calendar month’s fees are due in lieu of notice. (See terms and conditions).
